I was flicking between the mags and Leeds on the dodgy firestick yesterday. Bridges sounded like his dog had died when Bournemouth scored. Delicious. He’s a massive mag in a way I didn’t realise when he was a player. Actually thought he was a Sunderland fan when he played for us

Not sure his commentating is better as such but he definitely seems a genuine likeable bloke. He was on that thing with Redknapp and ruddock etc a few years back and seems like he’s had his struggles for sure. So aye genuinely happy for him he seems to have found a regular career with sky which can only be a good thing

Bloody hell. Didn’t have a clue about that. Comes across as decent bloke. Always un biased in his co commentary and seems genuinely happy to be watching games. Likeable bloke imo.

Bridges was absolutely fine considering he is ex Sunderland. No bias which is good to see.

Just seen this thread. I completely agree, I think he has always been really good when co-commentating on our games.

Always liked him when he was doing our games in the Championship and League One because you could tell that he had actually bothered to do some preparation beforehand whereas it was very obvious with certain co-commentators that they hadn't actually bothered to watch either side and just hoped to get by on a load of cliches.
