5 goals, 6 assists in the league this season - how many assists could he have had with better finishing? :lol: :cool:

brobbey with the OG miss and the one on one yesterday
diarra vs villa
he had a few vs man united

scary how high his numbers could actually be - not even like half chances - full blown 0.99xG :lol:

***this is not a negative post about the forwards etc***

We proved the xG thing a little wrong to say the least.
That’s why it’s always best to expect the unexpected.

This still amazes me, you could tell in the Championship he would be even better playing against defenders who don’t just try and kick you in the hope of getting away with it too.

I said on here I thought somebody like Villa would offer us £30m and an instant profit. His numbers are great attacking but his defending is unbelievable for a ‘flair’ player and it rarely gets mentioned. I hope we are fully under his skin as if he gets even better numbers next year really big clubs will be circling.

Yeah he is phenomenal, think I said it earlier this season he reminds me of Griezmann with the way he works. He could be going to France at the next Euros if he continues.

If he has an entire season playing like he has done over last 10games or so, he’ll be going to a champions league side. Or staying with a champions league side.
 
I had a feeling this league would suit him way better and allow him time on the ball and to work his magic without getting battered off the opposition.

We only proved the xG wrong because our defense was so f*cking good.

Other than the top two and Brighton, we conceded less goals than the other 16 teams, including Man U, Liverpool, Villa, Chelsea et al. 😎

For a newly promoted team to have the fourth best defence in the Premier League is immense.

According to footmob his chance wasn’t that high which I find astounding. Through on goal with just the keeper to beat
