Le Fée’s debut performance

what can you do? two left wingers injured which is kinda bad luck, thats life.
Riggs looked exhausted to be fair. He done well for us earlier this season. As a 17 year old to play alot of games is tough.

Mayenda on the left, Le Fée instead of Rigg in midfield from the start instead of 77mins.

Rigg on as sub at 77mins to defend our lead 🤔

I seen enough to confidently say that when he's had a few more games and full match fitness he should stroll through this league. At times on friday night he was a cut above everyone else on the pitch. I also think if you get him into a central role the link up play with Jobe will take Jobe's game to the next level as well.

One we get Mundle/Watson back fit and firing we will be a very very good attacking side. Very few teams could complete with us when those are available imo

I'd continue to play him wide until Mundle/Watson are fit. The only other option is Aouchiche wide and then dropping Rigg to put Le Fee centrally. I think we're stronger with him wide and Rigg in CM.

First half I thought he was OK, not that involved really.

But the tip toe past his man and ball to Isidor was top class 2nd half. Proper eye of the needle stuff.

Looks like he has a canny shot and a decent set piece. He's only going to get better.

His scoring record (1 goal every 26 appearances) would suggest differently. I know a few of those will just be short sub appearances.

Quick check shows it's a goal every 17 full 90 minutes which still isn't very good.

Aye but he may have a few excuses/explanations up his sleeve!

Lorient are a trad yo-yo club in France. He scored 7-107 for them inc 5-35 in the best season they’d had for donkeys years which was under RLB coincidentally. This earned him the move to Rennes who are a far bigger club.

Unfortunately Rennes were on the wane after a couple of top 8 or so appearances under Julian Stephan (who was the HC id hoped SAFC were gannin for when KLD arrived here as he’d mysteriously quit Rennes around that time). Stephan had gone to Strasbourg then got sacked and washed up back in Rennes in time to be Enzos second gaffer there in 25 games with no goals to show. He then went to Roma last summer.

Roma who have had three gaffers this season already.

It’s certainly coming to summet when a lad arrives at Sunderland and they’re almost bastion of managerial stability in his career!

I like the kid already but with Everton and Roma being owned by the same gadgy I think this so called transfer agreement isn’t worth the paper it’s printed on.

We missed a Pritchard type of player since he left to unblock solid defences and it looks he could be that. Hopefully with better stamina/consistency as he bloody should. Rigg is similar but he lacks experience. Someone to grab us over the line.

Aye. I think him and the regular three CM mouseketeers will be shuffled in and out during games between now and the seasons end. I don’t think there’s a better CM trio in the championship already. If Enzo proves to be as good as he showed glimpses of then we are 100% in the title race which I’d never previously thought.
Todays may be highest odds we see SAFC at for the rest of the season.

I'm weirdly upbeat too, even though I should know better
