Le Fée’s debut performance

He's not a run of games in ages, he was playing with unfamiliar players, in a new country and not in his preferred position. All in all he was far more impressive than he any right to be.
Me too mate.

After all the build up, with his lack of match practice and playing out of position, I was expecting a car crash, but he was excellent.

He looked lost in the first half, not a winger, not used to the pace of English football and must have been wondering what he has let himself in for. When he did get on the ball he looked quality.

That pass for Isidor was phenomenal. Can see he has quality - tired quickly but to be expected.

Should be playing in the middle, but a good option since we have no wingers atm

Thoughts?

For me, I thought you could see the quality was there, though maybe lacking in match fitness a touch.

I thought the chemistry wasn’t there with Cirkin yet, which I guess could be down to language barrier atm, and I think it will come with practice.

He looked to me like he will be better suited to a cm role, but it’s good to see that he’s adaptable enough that he isn’t just restricted to playing as a 6, 8, or a 10, as he could play on either wing too.

7/10 hopefully there’s much more to come.
Oozes class. the ball for Isidor to run onto where he hits the post (keeper nowhere) was special.

He controls it sees the opportunity to pass and passes it. He doesn’t mess about trying to get closer to the man before releasing it…….and he can do it with both feet.

Thats the difference between the Championship and the Premier leagues. Instant control, speed of thought and the quick pass.

That is why the likes of Clarke, Roberts aren’t good enough at that level. They have to get it on their favoured foot then look up and see what’s on.

Just quality from Le Fee.

When Mepham got into the team this was the 1st thing I noticed, especially comparing it to Ballard and O'Nien side foot slappers across the back four ad nauseum

Thought he looked as though he was playing out of position and would be more effective playing more centrally
