Le Bris the yes man

Regis might value the fact that Dodds and Procter are both English, have been at the club a while and know the players. We didn’t necessarily need to reinvent the wheel just tweak things to make it work and get a head coach who is on board with our approach to playing and recruitment. When your’re buying players to come good the next or even 2 seasons ahead I’d imagine it helps to have continuity with the coaching staff.

Is this a new role he's taken on? We've been pretty terrible at set-pieces for almost the whole time he's been on the coaching staff.

Might just be a case of Le Bris evaluating what the staff here were good at?

A 'Right Mick, you have some ideas there on the corner and free kick routines offensively, so you support me during the week while I sort out the pressing and defensive lines and what we do in possession and on Friday you can work on some stuff the lads might like to try in game' scenario..

Pretty much word for word what I heard

Getting interviewed in northern echo saying happy to go forward with current coaching staff if club can’t find the right candidates. I bet speakman and KLD love him already. How hard can it be to find a no 2 or coach. Load of absolute bullshit. I’m sure I read somewhere else over the weekend he didn’t want to talk about strikers either. Just what Speakman and KLD wanted someone who wouldn’t speak out against the model. Let the relegation battle commence.
As you weren’t
That's never the OP embarrassing himself and then disappearing YET AGAIN is ir?
He’ll have his draft ready for when the first defeat occurs.

Just goes to show how much you know, marra.

Had a no.2 lined up, talks broke down, so decided to wait for the window to close. Has had a say on transfers, quite clearly.
Has us top of the league.
His players are name dropping the very coaches you laughed at.
he has only been a manager a really short time - his old assistant is still at lorient I think.
So who has he got huge ties with and trusts from his managerial career to get them to move to a different country , uprooting family etc for a team which may not work out?
It's not weird at all.
It's like not being able to find your keys and not looking for them at the same time. Scratch the surface to find the clues.

Critchley coming in?

The "yes man" thing is such a strange go-to way to discredit somebody. I only ever really hear it on here with such regularity

The most basic argument to show people who use it how ridiculous the phrase is, is by asking what the alternative is, and why they would want a "no man" to disrupt things.

Also, their definition seems to be something along the lines of 'happy to work within the parameters the club without objecting', when has an unhappy manager that disagrees with the clubs vision ever been successful? Why do they want that?

Ties in with what I've heard
