Le Bris the yes man

It's not that unreal is it, it's clearly the way the club is being run and those Head Coaches will have been aware of that. Mowbray brought his own assistant in, Beale was going to had he been here longer and RLB doesn't have his own staff as his previous club gave him coaches to work with.

People getting upset on behalf of the Head Coach when they have no idea what he thinks of it.
He was actually going to bring Yannick Cahuzac with him from Lorient but the new man at Lorient also knows him and convinced him to stay. It's also not like you can just hire a new assistant manager/coaches from whoever applies, there also has to be a lot of rapport between them and Le Bris, so someone being the best candidate on paper isn't entirely relevant.

Getting interviewed in northern echo saying happy to go forward with current coaching staff if club can’t find the right candidates. I bet speakman and KLD love him already. How hard can it be to find a no 2 or coach. Load of absolute bullshit. I’m sure I read somewhere else over the weekend he didn’t want to talk about strikers either. Just what Speakman and KLD wanted someone who wouldn’t speak out against the model. Let the relegation battle commence.

The current coaching staff who got us to the play offs aye ?

They were shite as managers etc but they clearly have something. People loved the way we played under Mowbray when they were coaches.

Sure I saw “best I’ve ever seen us play” posts

You did see those posts.
Question: Did we play with the same style once Mowbray was sacked?

Think the argument is that it was stipulated staff were coming in , and they haven't. Same with lessons learnt. We have Browne, Proveda and a sub keeper. Early days though.

PS Mowbray and Venus were very hands on .

Another negative thread from you.

As you were.

This. Football under Mowbray and Venus was thoroughly enjoyable. Dodds & Proctor’s football when they were left to their own devices was turgid.

Why didn't he come in with a new guy straight away?

I reckon Speakman was hoping all along that Doddsy and Proctor would grow on him after a few weeks.

That’s subjective though. I’ve just stated that a lesson has been learned, as we have added experience. Ignoring that entirely is not realism.
Saying "a lesson has been learned" , sorry, I'm just not seeing that yet.

I am willing to give Le Bris a chance to see what difference he can make but I did have my suspicions right from the start that he must be a yes man. After all the candidates that were ruled out one by one it was clear that they want a person who agrees to do things their way.
Dodds as Assistant would confirm Speakman keeps his influence in the dressing room even though the last time under Beale it was a disaster.
Hopefully Le Bris can prove us wrong and that he is in fact his own man.
I very much doubt that Le Bris cannot think off his head an ex coach or player that he has worked with that he would like alongside him.

Speakshite spoke more shite when he signed, tracked for 2 year or some bollox.

I like Le Bris but no way was there not others who said no, when having to work with what was here was put to them ( Heckingbottom did). Le bris also said interviews were happening , mmmm unsure about that.

He may get tune out of the same 1st team as last year with addition of Browne, but I would hope the dweeb at the top gives the bloke a chance and give him a little quality up top.

Groundhog day.
The football under Mowbray was dogshit before he left
Amazing the amount of rewriting that goes on. The football under Mowbray was absolutely garbage last season before he was sacked.

f***ing hell mate, just look forward to the season and take a coffee into the garden man. It’s 8:30 on a Sunday and you’re bringing down the tone
I’m looking forward to the season and seeing what the shape of our squad will be at the end of the window.

Have you ever tried to consider why that was?
It would be difficult for any manager to play effective football without a recognised striker.
When he had options with Stewart, Simms and Amad the football was generally much better.
Maybe the blame was not necessarily the head coach but the one providing him with ineffective tools?

Oh good I'm guessing by that you never criticised Beale then

Yes but my point was it seems mutually exclusive to some that the football turned shit as soon as Mowbray left which just isn't true.

This
