Sad best forward in spl... Hearts team about to be ripped apart by Celtic and Rangers
Motherwell aswell by the looks of it. Elliott Watt apparently going to Rangers, Elijah Just to Celtic and the manager already gone to France. Total shame but that’s football I suppose.

Pretty telling that Rangers seem to be the only club who have ever shown any serious interest in taking him away from Hearts. Doubt he’d cut it in the Championship.
He’s a big Rangers man and always destined to end up there. Didn’t happen last summer only because Russell Martin didn’t want him, signed a 3 year deal at Hearts but with a get out clause after a year as he knew Martin wouldn’t still be there.

Was Martin there just last summer? Crikey, that feels like a good season or two ago.

Aye, only lasted four months, June-October.

It was the perfect season for Hearts, Martin was trying his best to fuck it up at Rangers and Nancy came in at Celtic and tried the same. You’ve got to think that it was Hearts best ever chance to do it, can’t see the big two making such big mistakes again in the same season.

Shite for hearts. Miss your best chance at the title and then your star player leaves on a free to go to a team that finished below you because they can potentially offer more going forwards

It's more to do with quadrupling his wage and playing for the team he supports than anything else

Oh absolutely but my mate said they got another year out of him they weren't expecting and they've had one of their best years ever supporting them so not all bad
Tbh the way it was being reported it sounded like a free chance/next to nothing, but atleast they're getting a fee (thats better than I originally was thinking 😅)

I've not seen that, how are they getting a fee for a player out of contract?

On the flip side, Bloom's Brighton and the other club he owned in Belgium have gone from strength to strength. I heard he said he wanted Hearts to challenge the Old Firm within 10 years and they've done that in 10 months, I'd be optimistic for the future if I was a Hearts fan once I was able to get over last week.

He isn't, got two years to go but has a clause allowing him to join Rangers for a 'nominal fee'. Sounds crap but a better deal than him walking for nothing last summer.
