This was the old Plawsworth CC? I asked about them the other week as I passed the old ground on the Nicholsons Estate. Its now overgrown but the club house is still there, but obviously not in a great state.

Actually if memory serves me correctly I think that their website is still active.

Yes it was
Think they got a bit of a handshake when they had to give up the ground they were poor at fundraising and couldn't continue once the money ran out

Aye, true. Even a side like Etherley, who played at a shit hole, will be missed like. Especially considering some clubs are at the centre of their community.
