Looking for some advice,
Sorting out a new laptop atm. On the Lenovo site, I can get £90 off the laptop if I get it without an operating system. I've purchased a cheap Windows key off the likes of CD Keys in the past and worked fine when using parallels on a Mac. Will it be fine again for this or a massive clart on?

easy enough to do your self if you have another machine to create the usb install tool. You might not even need the key if you have a microsoft account tied to old one.

Easy enough, yeah.

Good thing about windows now is that you don't have to activate it at all. It's barely any different.

Think I paid about 3 quid in the end. First code didn't work though, had to contact support. Fixed quickly enough.
