Lancs v Yorks

Williamson should have been in earlier
Well plunks got 19 off 9 balls and bresnan 17 off 6

To get them as close as they did. One unscored off ball in the last over was the difference

Willey used 19 balls for 20

I think Yorks could have done very little different

England lads were poor. Clearly something amiss with Rash at Yorkshire. He clearly likes and respects Morgan. Patterson and Gale/Moxon not so much. Can't blame him either.

Williamson is a class act and he should be ahead of Willey for me. Root showed you don't need to be a slogger to score quickly

which is why Williamson would have made the difference
Not at all. Bresnan 17 off 6 plunks 19 off 9, Williamson could barely have done better than that.

The game was lost when three fielders stood and allowed a dolly off Livingstone to hit the ground

Wiley scoring 20 off 19

And one maiden ball in the last over

That's my whack

So Williamson could of batted ahead of Willey, it was down to one run of course he could of got 20in ten or 17in 6

Williamson is just off the plane.

They lost by one. Ive explained everything clearly where the game was lost

Signing one of the top 4 batsmen in the world and sending him in after Willey Plunkett and Bresnan

Only at Andrew "fuck off back to your own country" Gale and Martyn "we back our own" Moxon's Yorkshire

Williamson is one of the best batsman in the world and was probably the best batsman in the ipl. He should be in before Willey

Went to the match last night, it was fantastic entertainment. Took my brothers for their first games and one asked afterwards "Is it like this at Durham?"

It was a great game, even though Root scored 52 off 21 he made it look such hard work, I think he'd have been caught 2/3 times if Lancs had their boundary riders in 10/15 yards. He's great at timing the ball down the ground but any time he looks for cow corner or put a bit of power into it he looks awful. I didn't even realise Williamson was playing until he came out to bat at 6. I appreciate Yorkshire went for Bresnan and Plunkett to go six hitting but surely they'd have been better off sending Williamson out to open, he's more than capable of scoring at the rate they required.

Fresh off a plane, Willey days ago whacked fifty v India to help seal a win.

Bresnan, plunks and Willey were all in form.

They lost the game due to three fielders not talking and taking a dolly off Livingstone

It was not the batting. It was the non fielding that lost the game

They scored 170 odd off 14 overs. It was the fielding the difference

That was right in front of us, it looked like only Lyth was going to get in a position to catch it and it would have been pretty tricky as it was coming over his shoulder. But he pulled out really early, he obviously thought Patterson was getting there, not sure anybody called it. The looks on their faces was great though, the pair of them were chuntering away at each other for a while afterwards

Graeme Onions batting EIGHT for lancs. i appreciate they had an injury but 9 normally with Tom Bailey at 8

Thats the longest tail in County Cricket surely
