essex boy

Striker
Saj Mahmood hot on the heels of his ten wicket match haul in his last game could be the key player in this game.

Glad to see the Mancunian Express back to his best as he is the best out and out quick this country has produced in a long while

However, I hope he has an off game

one wonders whether its in the best interests of English cricket for the top two sides to be playing each other on a club green top wicket

its pretty poor to be honest.

ive seen much better club wickets than that

Let's just make all pitches flat, straw coloured and no chance of a result. That'll see us successfully grind out the predictable draws that matches in India, Sri Lanka and Pakistan (before the ban) usually resulted in.

a good wicket should have something in it for everyone

I don't disagree, but to be the best you have to make pitches to suit. Clearly Lancs thought by making a green pitch and making use of their seamers they would have a chance of winning.
