He looked promising in our last tour over there, very good spinner albeit on some bunsens and a classy looking batter.
Agreed. I think he is over just in case of injury to the Indian squad for the test and white ball games. Very handy lower middle order player

He seemed to have a reputation as a white ball specialist iirc at the start of that series (mind you which Indian cricketer doesn’t I suppose) but he definitely looked like he had what it takes in the red ball game at Test level. Admittedly in his home conditions, which were helpful, to say the least. Be very interesting to see how gets on for Lancs.
Their Dom had better watch out. He’s got competition.
