Lancashire Points Deduction?

I ask the question, because I’ve seen no reporting of this in the usual places, but have seen this response from Lancashire regarding their pitch for their home defeat to Middlesex.

We were told substandard pitches would result in the offending county losing all points from the game in question, will that occur here?

I think that would be stupid. I find the stick Somerset have got over the years is bad too, I'd rather a bowlers game than a batsmans game in cricket.

You want a contest but a batting feast is always worse than a bowlers feast.

As they say in the article if 90% of games have been draws then how is a result pitch below average.

Sounds like all them draws were below average. Sets a shite precedent especially after Lancs lost the game.

Would rather see a game like that than a 600 plays 600 on an absolute road. If anything, they need to start rating them pitches as below standard
