Lamine Yamal

Aye hope he's not burnt out by 28 though.
Wouldn't be surprised.

Not even 19 yet and he's already played 150 top flight professional games. His first two seasons he played 50 and 55 games and he could hit 50 again this season.

He is without a doubt the most talented youngster in the world, but surely they can't keep playing him this much forever. He's already had a couple of minor recurring injuries, it can't be good for him playing that much football while still developing!
Thats just not true.

At his age ronaldo had played 28 games for sporting about 20 for man utd in and out of the team.

Messi had played about 20 games for Barcelona.

Yamal has about 150 games for Barcelona, about 48 goals. Hes already won a major international trophy with Spain. Won numerous trophies at Barcelona as their key player, a domestic treble last season. Finished 2nd in the balon dor.

Hes performing at a ridiculous level for his age. I don't think anybody will ever be as good as Messi but he's performing at a higher level at the same age.
Yamal is the first player I've ever seen where I think he genuinely could be as good as Messi.

Every time a player gets touted as the next Messi it's the same thing. Either they've had a dozen really good apperances for a top team or they've had one great season in Brazil. The Brazilians aren't being tested at too high a level, and the rest haven't proven themselves over a sustained run.

Yamal has consistently been playing at a world class level for nearly 3 seasons now.

He has a chance!

They reckon he is 320k euros pw now and by all accounts Barca are going to have to find 3 or 4 times that to hold on to him
Not sure if even Real could afford that
Some player
One of the few things I’m looking forward to in WC is him and rest of that Spain team

Looks like he has a bit of an attitude mind

That said, he fucked the mags unlubed so it’s all good
Think that’s just his generation in general. We see players with 10% of his skill having attitudes these days. It’s pretty wild he’s only 18. Feels like he’s been around for years.

hes gone back since he turned 18...likes to party they reckon

i was there last night. he was their main.man. Rashford although he scored looked a bit part player

Yamal is the same age as Rigg?

I’ve never liked him, to be honest — his attitude has always put me off.
Fair enough though, he’s a top player. But if he was more respectful and showed the right attitude and work rate, then I’d respect him fully, like Messi.
I didn’t like Messi’s style years ago either, but now I’ve got nothing but respect for him.

Dowman, the one player I am exciting with.
Attitude excellent.
Down to earth player.

His lass wants to visit the bridges
Not really got any room for you just now in development squad. Thanks for the interest Lamine we wish you luck in the future. Maybe set your sight a little lower and send C.V to the visitors at Syd James care of Saudi Embassy. Au revoir, amour RLB

Not many players to break through at his level and age and manage to sustain it over a career. I think you could argue that both Owen and Rooney were at a similar level at 18 - especially Rooney - and neither were able to fulfil their promise.

I remember watching Rooney scoring a hat trick on his Man U debut in the CL and thinking I was watching the early years of the best player of all time.
