Anyone been? Owt worth doing? Looking possibly at day or two there in between Singapore and Ho Chi Minh city but doesn’t seem more than high rise buildings and shops.

Been twice It's OK but given the choice I'd spend an extra day in Singapore or HCMC instead.

Not really boozed there so can't comment on nightlife. Good food. Batu Caves is canny. Good for shopping.

Think that’s what we’ll do to be honest and give KL a miss.

Spent a day there at the end of a dive holiday. Thought it was quite an interesting city on the surface; did some street food and a couple of night markets that were quite fun. Didn't do the caves, but went up the Petronas towers.

Don't go to the zoo at the bottom of the towers.

Love Malaysia but KL is just a bit of a bland nondescript city. If you are 'stuck' in KL for a couple of days due to flights then get a bus to Malacca, only 2-3 hours away, historic place, go for a ride down the river, 'marvel' at the massive crocodile looking creatures that wander down the road.

HCMC is amazing though, spend as much time there as poss. Singapore is also great, people knock it but there is good stuff to see and do there if you look hard enough.

if you are in HCMC for a while then I would recommend going for a day out to the Cu Chi Tunnels. there are people around HCMC offering it as a day out, get on their minibus, go there, be shown around, go down in the tunnels they built during the Vietnam War.

also, enjoy crossing the road in HCMC!

tip - don't have intercourse with any of the 'boom boom' girls when you are there

Singapore is high rise buildings and shops as well..

Both fairly boring cities but worth a visit..

Bit of a strange place there doesn't seem to be a centre and everything is spread out.

In the city the Petronas Towers and a few old British Colonial buildings are worth looking at as is Chinatown.

There's a strip of bars around Bukit Bintang £5 a pint opposed to £10 plus in Singapore.

It's fairly advanced and there's not a lot of poverty compared to the rest of Asia.

Food is cheap as it is in Singapore.

Definitely go it's worth it especially after you've gone all that way.
