Kone and Toure go for a 50-50. Toure left flat on his face, as Kone jogs away nonchalantly.

He looks like he was built to be a central defender, but as we've seen with the likes of McShane you can't judge too early.

All the new signings looked decent. Kone is a f***ing brute, Khazri looked very good, his corners are fantastic. But for me and just as a big fuck you to all you clueless twats who decided he was garbage after 30 minutes Kirchoff was my pick of the bunch.
I only saw an hour before giving up on my awful stream but he looked a very good passer of the ball!

Looks like we have a very good player on our hands judging by that performance.
The lad was strong, fast, calm and composed on the ball and had an excellent first touch. We looked a hell of a lot more organised at the back today.

Let's hope he doesn't have a relegation clause in his contract, or we'll be losing out on a decent player.

Yep, that and his enthusiasm :)

Kone was a joy to watch, got a feeling him and kab will make a solid central pairing.
kirchoff, for a defender he played the defensive midfield role to perfection imho...calm on the ball and rarely looking to just hoof it.
'the kharzi', not sure where he was meant to play but seemed all over the pitch, nothing outstanding but another decent debut.

When he took on the entire city team by himself as if they were kones, didn't expect that, loved it. Bet Sam was going mental.

I was very impressed. Gan on Kone lad. Should have kept going himself in the first half when he decided to take them all on.
