He was dreadful for them for most of the season but I thought he dealt with Brobbey better than most when they played at ours.

Moot point anyway cos he’ll be on silly money
 
His form was related to his mental problems. Having RLB as manager and Xhaka, Mukiele and O'Nien as team mates would do wonders for him and he could become world class again.
Unfortunately he'll go to that nutcase of a club that is Real Madrid, not really the place to clear your head.

I am the jota tragedy will have affected some lfc players really badly

Add in family issues and you can see why it can get a bit too much for some people / players and affect them for along time

I've said all season that in years to come people will look back in Liverpool season in the context of what happened. Imagine finishing the season on such a high, going away for the summer then the next time you see your team mates is at one of their funerals. Awful. It was obvious it deeply affected them but if they mentioned that during the season they'd be seen as making excuses.

I've been there in my life and can totally relate to his feelings. I hope he can bounce back.
