Benitez is probably on their list. Can't see him refusing if they guarantee some transfer funds + much bigger club in world stature. Mags could be crying by the weekend :)

Possible.

Some journo from the Mail reckons Dyche to Everton.

After Martinez and Koeman I think Dyche would be another bad appointment for Everton.

I really like him, and wanted him at Sunderland before Moyes was given the job ...... but I don't see him being right for the club at the stage they're at.

the net spend argument is a load of shite

they may have got £80m for Lukaku but it doesn't change how Koeman has wasted a fortune buying players with no idea how to actually make a team with them

I like it, sale falls through and Rafa buggers off then all the mags on here follow suit.

Their world could implode at any moment and Everton will prove once and for all what a small club they really are. Certainly no bigger than us when going well.

Unfortunately I think he’s been sucked in by them, plus he’ll be on absolutely ridiculous money. The only thing would be if he really wanted to be closer to his family.

Everton manager pay is c£6m pa. Benitez would take it without hesitation if it was offered as he's enquired about the job before. It's extremely unlikely he's under consideration though*

*he should be

I like Dyche but just think Everton might be a bit too much for him..Watfords manager maybe or Moyes till the end of the season..can't believe i'm mentioning Moyes but it could happen.

I like Dyche but I reckon Everton fans would think this was not a 'big' name for them akin to the Scum and Hughton

They have been playing terribly. I don't think it's just the teams they've played, it's been the manner of the defeats.

Someone needs to come in, stop playing 4 Number 10s. Set them up with some actual width and they'll climb the table. Koeman has set them up shite so far.

A bit hard to understand after their draw with Man City.

But at Brighton half the Everton side could not even control the ball properly. Especially the long balls out wide and quite a few of the shorter balls as well.
