Arguably, but once you sell and lease back all your assets, sell all your best players etc etc the club could be but a shell of what it was.
Cashflow is the lifeblood of a club, turn it off and we won’t like the consequences.

I can really tell you love our club and applaud you for that, but do you really think if we get promoted to the Championship the three headed monster that is Madrox is then going to walk away.
They ain’t, they think the club is worth so much more if promoted, it isn’t imo but they won’t sell then because they are greedy greedy bastards and always have in there heads they were going to make fortunes from the sale of our club.

He’s not been here five years man. I knaaar it seems like it. Chill out.
In five years time he’ll be giving you a guided tour of the posh parts of Marseilles the neet before our CL tie against them. Then treating you and Derek thingy to a slap up meal in the company of Waddler, Cisse, Fletch, Eric Roy and the rest of the surprisingly large number of our ex players who had a spell there anarl. Just cool yer Birkenstock’s Bob lad.

Spot on. I’ve been saying it for months now. The earliest the twat twins will leave is if the moneys reet after a one season trip around boardrooms of the PL or if Oxford come up for grabs or they’re made an offer too good to turn down. All reasonable offers will be refused.

Consequently there'll always be a 20k + "attendance" reported at each home league game even when there are only 12 -14 k in actual attendance.

I think any smart buyer will gauge the mood of the fans and if he is confident know they will attend in numbers very quickly if the team do well.

There will always be a nucleus of support at SAFC that is way better then the results deserve. No reason to criticise supporters at all.

Renewing means the club revenues are replenished by supporters and therefore Donald and Methven don’t have to put as much in to protect their asset. That means they’ll sit on their lot and wait patiently while Sunderland stagnates.

Not replenishing makes them begrudgingly have to put more of their own to maintain the club and forces them to drop their price.

I have no issues with people renewing. It’s entirely understandable and acceptable to carry on supporting the club in the stadium. But, the most effective way to force Madrox hand and encourage their exit is by supporters not renewing. It’s evident you aren’t bothered about removing them and have very little criticism for them despite everything they have / haven’t done so just let those who wish to do something crack on without belittling what they’re doing.

And by forcing Madrox to put more in out of their own money, is more likely to ensure they don't drop their asking price for their shares.

If KLD has millions to invest, I want him to buy players, not SD's shares.

Of course smaller crowds will make us less attractive to a buyer. That’s so obvious it’s not even worth taking the time to type. I was laughing at the fact that you seem to think it’s some sort of revelation.
 
Not a season ticket holder but attend most home games
Will continue regardless next season
It’s fair to say the ones attending on a regular basis in this division are the lifeblood of the club & the true supporters
 
Apologies for butting in, and I do try and keep abreast of what's happening at your club, but who or what does MADROX stand for ? (I assume SD is in there, and was guessing at OX standing for Oxford?, but I have waved the white flag at working it out!) Thanks, whoever answers!
