Kirk played a young Scottish soldier in "Tunes of Glory" in what was a very brief and uncredited cameo role that is easily missed. (You can spot him for a second just behind Alec Guinness in the Regimental dance scene). Interestingly lots of people often rate his 1957 film "Paths of Glory" that he made for Stanley Kubrick more highly -but I don't necessarily agree.I agree, but what's it got to do with Kirk Douglas?
