Had a cracking day out there last weekend

Its improved loads since last time i was up there

Nice pub and cafe as well as lots of activities going on

We got the ferry around the resovoir which was class with good info as your going around

Some brilliant scenery and Ospreys are nesting up there now and great viewing platform to see it all

They were out in force on the water but we just stopped inside on the boat

Yeah we walked across the dam and that bit is lovely even the picnic areas at the other side were class

Ran through it on the Tyne Trail a few years ago, beautiful like. Planning on doing the marathon this year if my hip rights itself. Not done it before.

Really beautiful run. I've done the day and night marathons. I hated the night run, I didn't realise how much my enjoyment of running depends on the scenery. The day run is beautiful but tough. I earned my beer after running that marathon
