Kicking right off

Where’s the coppers there’s not a copper in sight next to those buses, it’s pitch black as well, they need some light up asap, someone could easily be stabbed
There's about three coppers for the whole of Sunderland, Scotty, son. There's no police station in the city centre. A bloke I know is a recently retired detective sergeant. His house was burgled. He reported it to the police, but didn't disclose he was an ex cop. The lass he spoke to took the details of the stolen items & told him that was it, case closed. There are many other similar examples that could be cited. That's what happens when you slash 30-40 thousand experienced officers from the payroll & don't replace them. If it ever really kicks off in Sunderland, God knows what would happen.

I saw all this today as I was walking back with my kids.
Always been proud that Sunderland don’t let anyone take the piss but don’t look for bother with ordinary fans.
Tonight wasn’t good, young Sunderland lads attacking ordinary fans buses, totally unprovoked. Not good, sad and embarrassing.
Bang On this.
I was walking past as they started, all our twats kicking the buses and trying to smash the windows with a barrier. Felt embarrassed and angry there were kids on their coaches as well.
That walkway is a disaster waiting to happen, its black dark, no coppers, and away buses taking up half the road so thousands squeezing through as the away fans try to get to the coaches. It's crap organisiation.
But I'm sad to say that doesnt take it away from the fact that it was the same bunch of tosser Saunderland fans that went looking for it, if you can call them supporters.

The club should be responsible for providing security outside the ground to stop these incidents. Its going to happen every home match. Its effin obvious.

None of the spenks had been to the game, the clip of them man, most of them had their faces covered
In a way it wouldn't be a big deal if the Cardiff fans were acting up. They weren't. Just our mob being absolute weapons on innocent supporters.
Only place I’ve ever felt truly threatened is Cardiff . . . Horrible place to visit and was chased back to the car by a group of blokes.
Get yourself into training for the fixture down there then!
