Kevin Phillips

No one is forced to go. I've seen them a couple of times but that's enough. May do the Carlos Edwards one in May at the Fire Station.

Agree, I think my point has lost its way. I was not making a direct criticism as such.

The 3 times i have seen once an event with just him and the others it was 2/3 guests.

Was genuinely curious to find out who has seen him. Cos he seems to be involved in quite a few ( and still going )

Yeah Carlos one looks interesting for sure.

I wasn't having a go mate. I'll not be going to anymore with him and Reid. Heard the stories enough now. Unfortunately, I've just found out we've got two Chelsea mates coming up when the Edwards one is on. Doubt I'll make it. Sure I'll still have a good day and night ;)

I haven't been. Would like to at some point. Concerning if he was watching Nyron in the showers mind considering they didn't play for us at the same time.

Don’t get the fuss and adulation about him
He couldn’t wait to leave when going got tough and fact is he was an abject failure after leaving
Those clubs he left us for couldn’t give a shiney 5hite but we have fans handing over hard earned money listening to his pithy little homilies
Defoe was a better, player, striker and human being

I mean he was the first Englishman to win the European golden boot and he did it with Sunderland.

Defoe was class as well, but probably his best years weren't at SAFC.

Lets just admire him for the work he did on the field.

For example ive got no idea if londoner charlie buchan went to same lengths on endear himself to fans after retirement but i do know that phillips was one of the top players ever to play for us. what I also know is it happened in my lifetime and the honest truth is many of us will not live to to see another striker score more goals for safc than him.

Great player.
Club legend.

However , can’t be many that haven’t seen him at a ‘talk in’ by now ? Over last few days seen at least 2 more doing the rounds. £20 / £30 quid a pop.

Only so many times we can hear about Quinny having 6 pints the night before a game and Nyron being ‘the longest in the showers’ surely.

Did Nuggsy and Phillipsy even play together? He left ages before he joined

Why was he spying on Nyron in the showers at least 2 seasons after he(Phillips) played for us?

He didn’t play with Nyron for a start
Problem is, he used to keep coming back to the dressing rooms on a match day to sneak a peak at Nyron's 12 inch trouser snake. Only stopped recently after Regis 'found a solution' and locked him out.

Carlos is speaking from 35 yards outside it apparently.

Saw SKP at Houghton Comrades a few years back. Around the time we were going down under Moyes. Really good night and he took time out to let everyone get photos with him. Top fella and a club legend.
