To be fair I have Downie followed on Twatter and im convinced he is a mag. Normally id laugh at the magedia claims, but I think genuinely this bloke is a fan.

What negativity? We've been utter shite for pretty much the last 10 year in premier league so it's only natural the coverage isn't exactly going to be glowing regarding us.

I've certainly heard of him telling people Newcastle are a much bigger draw than Sunderland for Sky audiences. Might explain his bent.

Remember him getting hit in the fyace by about 6 mince pies flying out the Sunderland end at Ayersome park years back,shouldn't laugh but was git funny:)
