Keeping our heads

Sunday is massive. Really hope we don't get a daft red card or give VAR an excuse to punish us, we need to play with passion but under complete control.

...and if we get a corner, let Cucurella wrestle you to the floor but DO NOT HIT THE DECK UNTIL THE BALL IS PLAYED!

Ha'way The Lads!
And hopefully keep thier fingers out of his hair.

The primary asset Regis has is this unreal ability to keep his squad calm and grounded. I’ve credited it before as the primary reason we won both derbies, and have been successful in all of the big games he’s managed for us so far. We let the likes of Coventry at their place get carried away and overpress and things and picked them off - we’re good at riding waves of pressure and what not.

That’s the last thing I’d be worried about for this team frankly.

RLB always has the team's heads right for the big games.

Chelsea have the individual players to beat anyone on their day, but a calm and methodical team performance should see us right.

i think this will be the best prepared we've been for any game this season.
It's our cup final this year.
And RLB has a pretty good record in big games.
Xhaka will see it as a personal badge of honour if we qualify so he will be all guns blazing.
If we get it tactically right, and perform to our capabilities, we have a very good chance indeed.

whatever the outcome is, just enjoy it. We get where we want is to stay up.
Things are progress, no pressure.

enzo le fee is our big gamechanger in big games. Like Everton FA cup, Newcastle both home and away.

We have a different mindset nowadays.. the players and coaching staff know its a big game and im hoping they wont be overawed by the occasion .We have a certain player who wont let it get to the rest of the team.. for the record i think we will win and have done even before the Man Utd and Everton games ...HTL

The OP has a point. Can you imagine how unbearable the mags would be if they jumped above us on the last day and achieved a euro spot? This game is massive just for that reason.
The Mags can 100% NOT qualify for Eorope this season.
There i100% no combination that could result in that.
Is that clear?
