Keep Le Bris even if we're relegated?

We are rightly favourites to go down.
But it won't stop loads abusing him and KS and KLD when we invariably lose a few matches
The feel good factor is still very much in play.
A bad start with a wretched Jan window will quickly turn the tide. İt's human nature

Only a couple of weeks ago it was "Should we keep le Bris if we don't win promotion?" now it's what should we do with him if we are relegated from the Premier League .

He might do very well for us in the Premier League but then end up ditching us because he receives a much more lucrative offer ffor his services from a bigger Club. 😁

i'm just wondering what everyone's take is on potentially keeping le bris even if we are relegated. just like ipswich have with mckenna. build around le bris so that we can go again?

(btw i'm not saying we're going to be relegated, just a thought)
For once in our recent history let’s hope we get some managerial stability.

Let’s have faith in Regis.

We will stay up so it’s academic anyway. It’s whether or not he can get us into Europe.

I’m tempted to bin him even though we’re promoted if I’m honest 😂

I think the reasonable amongst us recognise that it's going to be very difficult.
There will be some on here who won't accept that we get beat by established premier league teams with a far higher spending allowance than us.

He should, but...

Some on here will turn on him 20 minutes into the first game if it's still 0-0

The Sunderland Disease will be an epidemic again by October with a bad start

relegated? are you from sky or Newcastle?

No, it’s a mutually beneficial relationship until it isn’t anymore. We gave him the chance to look after a great club and he’s done a great job. One day it’ll come to a natural end. The club comes first not its employees. He will always have what he did with us on his track record, he can always be proud of it and we have him to thank for it.

love how i'm branded a mag for even saying that relegation is a possibility. i've always been an optimistic fan, just wondering what people think about keeping a manager despite relegation.

I understand the question but its a bit of a daft question at this stage - obviously it depends on the next 10 months performances.

If we lose 38 games and don't score any goals, probably not.
If we get relegated on the last day on goal difference with the highest points total for any relegated team, then probably yes.

Hope I'm wrong but I think RLB will be massively out of his depth in the PL. He got promoted with a team of young kids who bought into his philosophy but if we start making big name signings to compete in the PL apart from massive fees they come with massive egos and he just does not seem authoritarian enough to handle that.

Clueless? You just cannot keep it in your happy-clappy pants can you?

I thought Admins were supposed to be impartial?
Eh? 😂 I'm a normal fan the same as you.

A fair few people were losing their shite because we were resting players and losing meaningless games. Most weren't.

I was slightly concerned we might not be able to turn our form back on. In truth we didn't. But we were still incredibly hard to beat as we had been all season bar the last half a dozen games or so go games. We lost no games out of 3 in the play offs.

You and others were wrong plain and simple and now you're trying to blame the likes of me? 😂

Yep. Despite any poor play or negativity, we need to persist with this manager. He’s still learning and will continue next year. People forget how little experience he has.
