I've just walked over the keel crossing today and noticed the rusting railings but you have already posted. It looks absolutely terrible this can't be intenshinal it looks to me as if the steel hasn't been galvanised to stop the rust. It hasn't been open a year yet after this winter it will be ten times worse. They should have been made of stainless steel not crap rusting metal to me its a job done on the cheap. If I was the council I'd want them replacedDoes anyone know if this is an intended ageing process on the railings?

Probably the engineers overlooked how much salt would be in the air. Need to address it. They also need to keep the damn thing clean, that stone is going to show lots of shit if they don’t keep it cleanI've just walked over the keel crossing today and noticed the rusting railings but you have already posted. They misted a trick with the centre being black tarmac the full walkway should have been paving like the sides it would have looked better.
