Keel Crossing [opened 18.10.25] - compendium thread

Popped my bridge cherry last night myself. A couple of pints around keel square. Out of a pub to join the throng crossing was absolutely brilliant tbh. The lighting on the buildings gives a great atmosphere to the night as you approach then seeing the stadium off in the distance really did give it that 'Wembley way' feel. As said by others the walk back is equally as impressive and the Vaux development looks superb. Massive well done to all concerned. Any Evertonian who was at their last game and headed from town must have thought they'd rocked up to the wrong place.

I parked in the Riverside car park last night. Left woth 2 mins to go as had little un. So beat the crowd to leave the stadium and over the bridge then a short walk to there and out the car park towards and over the Spire bridge then over downhill lane and I was home in no time. Brilliant.

Me and my much better half walked over from Keel Square to Sheepfolds for a couple of beers Sunday night. What an addition to the city! The view of the stadium as you cross the bridge is very special, our own Wembley Way

Well done to everyone involved in the idea, design and construction

I never noticed it but wonder if I crossed before it happened as I left from the West Stand so maybe got on before it got really busy.

Walking over the bridge to the stadium last night was brilliant. The ground needs a sunderland badge/lights on the side you see from the bridge though would look even more spectacular.

Perhaps a drone display?

Is the swaying feeling not also due to the clouds moving across the sky as you are walking over a narrower space
A type of vertigo or travel sickness

Beaver moon tonight
Be careful out there

Got a bit foggy footage this morning that I'll put up when I get a chance.
Also spotted my first bit of vandalism, someone scrawled their tag on one of the benches. Hope when they are caught someone fills in their eyes with black marker pen.
Was flying quite low (10m) and think I scared the crap out of some bloke walking across the bridge as it came up behind him. Sorry if that was you.

Brilliant photo that mate.

Its nowhere near as bad with it being a lot wider as you can actually walk at a normal pace & not crammed. Will help when the hoarding are removed leading upto it
It’s getting to the bridge I was pointing out . Once on there it moves along nicely.
