Keel Crossing [opened 18.10.25] - compendium thread

Walking over the bridge to the stadium last night was brilliant. The ground needs a sunderland badge/lights on the side you see from the bridge though would look even more spectacular.

Walking back over the bridge after the match was as equally appealing to the eyes. The development is nothing other than outstanding. Everyone involved needs deserve huge plaudits and a pay rise. When you get back towards the new buildings it feels like walking through London though not as tall.

Tried to get a picture but dont think it really does it justice.

Felt liked id had a good session on the beer walking back over the bridge it was swaying so much.
South Stand extension should see to that

The ship badge would look brilliant, and very apt with it being the Roker End.

We used it last night and at the weekend. It's brilliant.

Perfect in width for match footfall, and lovely at the weekend for a leisurely stroll.

There was a fair bottle neck between the south stand and sheepfolds but presumably they'll be taking down the temporary fencing causing it. Wonder what they are doing with that patch.

It will eventually split off in two directions. One heading to the North stand, the other to the south stand.

Popped my bridge cherry last night myself. A couple of pints around keel square. Out of a pub to join the throng crossing was absolutely brilliant tbh. The lighting on the buildings gives a great atmosphere to the night as you approach then seeing the stadium off in the distance really did give it that 'Wembley way' feel. As said by others the walk back is equally as impressive and the Vaux development looks superb. Massive well done to all concerned. Any Evertonian who was at their last game and headed from town must have thought they'd rocked up to the wrong place.

I parked in the Riverside car park last night. Left woth 2 mins to go as had little un. So beat the crowd to leave the stadium and over the bridge then a short walk to there and out the car park towards and over the Spire bridge then over downhill lane and I was home in no time. Brilliant.

used it for the women's rugby and the first footy game when it officially opened. it's class but we used the wear bridge last night and it looked brilliant all lit up from there.
i do have a very minor gripe though with the lights. before the game it's lit up red and white on the sides with the striped lighting sort of moving in one direction. before the game it should be moving towards the ground and after the game should be moving towards the city. like i said, it's probably just me being me and should perhaps be in the small things that annoy you thread :)

Definitely felt it sway last night. Thought it might have been the half time pint but the bairn said he felt it as well. Felt fine after the Wolves game but last night was a windy one.
