Yes that’s when it officially opens, so no you can’t cross it before it officially opens. The same way you can’t get into the stadium before it opens.

To be fair that’s what happened with the women’s rugby, and it wasn’t too bad at all. I’d argue there’ll have been more people around Keel Square for that than there will be Saturday as well.

An hour and a half. Probably a bit of a large crowd at first then steady away up till 2.45. It's really wide so can take large numbers.
I still think it should be earlier though for those who go in to the SoL early.

Don’t think so to be honest, Keel Sq had the fanzine thing on for the rugby, the whole place was rammed. That’s where everyone congregated. Keel Sq won’t have as many people there on Saturday.
