People with that mindset wouldn't be interested in going out anyway. People pay to park in every city in the country, it's hardly an issue and won't make a jot of difference to demand. There's a shed load of new parking provided within a short walk from the bridge and new development as well.

They are probably trying to encourage people to use the other car parks or public transport.

I only noticed the parking charge signs up in the west stand car parks, have they appeared in the east stand car park?

Yeah. I parked there last Wednesday and there was no signs up. Went to Sheepfolds on Friday and the signs were up, so they've been shit hot getting them up all over.
