That coupled with the silt build up along the river bed, it’s only a matter of time that it’s a tunnel.

One of the bolts on one of the lamp post column bases wasn't screwed all the way down and someone said it was proof the bridge is sinking

Try the sheepfolds stables just outside calabash?

Alternatively might be able to see it at river level?

Just had a walk down there earlier, down the little cobbled lane that goes behind the sheepfolds, and at the bottom you just hop the little handrail and go round to the left and you have the best seat in the house to view it. I'll post a picture later

So weird that residents of a city can be opposed to something so positive. It's as if they think Sunderland can't have nice things, almost self-deprecation. The whole Riverside plan looks amazing and we're finally looking like a city, but still they comment with their bland, generic complaints about the council while displaying no understanding about how to actually urban plan. Getting harder not to bite back at them. WDSC.

Learnt many years ago to never underestimate the absolute f@@kin stupidity of some people.

They are indeed and they have an alternative perception of reality but not actually reality. They don’t understand science or an evidence based approach. Theres some social media users out there who’ll believe fabricated content to them it is reality. The worry is the loss of critical thinking. The gauge they have to discern fact for fiction is a gut feeling. A gut feeling ffs!

I was thinking that the big yellow(?) one was doing the lift, so what are they going to use now?
