Cost you to park though so some would see this as an own goal.....paid parking in your own city centre...never heard of such disgrace

Monkwearmouth railway bridge lasted a week or two tops last time it was painted and its bloody difficult to get on to

What about that footbridge that connects the Vaux site to Farringdon Row over riverside park? I’ve never actually walked along that but always fancied it because you must get a decent view of the riverside and SOL.

Last time I was over Deptford it was blocked off still.
I think I'll park up next to the Saltgrass & venture down the path next to Liehberr & see how far I can get along, the harris fencing wasn't up to much last time I was down there

They had some site offices for the new multi storey car park there & were clearing the land next to it for redevelopment.
When I lived at Millfield the bridge was my regular shortcut back from the match or the town.

Not until the online application process for wanting to cross opens iirc so they can manage the numbers crossing at once for weight reasons iirc.

There's talk of people with their name beginning A-D can use it the first week of July 2025. Then E-G second week, H-N third week and O-Z 4th week. Then it's on a rolling weekly basis. This is due to weight restrictions and the like.
