Kebab House Chilli Sauce

Been looking for a good one for a while - anyone recommend one close to the real thing? Most I've tried are pretty shit.

I picked up some Indus Peri Peri chili sauce the other day, tastes nice and is like molten lava at times. Would buy over nandos peri peri any day.

Is more like a chili sauce than a peri peri.

It’s east to make your own and get it the same or very close. Mint sauce is what makes a difference.

Aye, white wine or cider vinegar on all of recipes I've seen.

It has. But IIRC, the chicken kababs don't come with onions, peppers and mushrooms like they used to?

Happy to be proved wrong and forced to give them another go....

4 chillies
1 onion
3 cloves of garlic
half teaspoon sugar
salt
tin chopped tomatoes
tablespoon white wine vinegar
2 tablespoons tomato ketchup

Zap in a blender. Tastes authentically scuzzy. Never put mint in it, but do when making kebab-shop style salad.

Beat me to it.
When they say authentic I have never seen it in any kebab shop in Turkey. The nearest thing they have is ecile Ezme which is “ chilli salad “ which isn’t really saved with kebabs but more of a dip.
I have asked plenty of shops and no one knows.

I got a burger from a van and they only had the extra hot version. Kinell, it’s a bit warm!
