He has for sure. It’s not the first I’ve heard of it. What does surprise me is that it’s got out. He generally tries to keep it low profile unless it benefits the charity involved.

Exactly he does loads of charity work which isn't publicized.
He was the first manager at SAFC to fine players for not turning up at Foundation events and shirt signing sessions.
