Very sad but in the long run it may be a blessing . He was never going to recover and his life must have been a living purgatory. Kate must also have been almost in mourning for a person who was still alive . She can hopefully move on and try and rebuild her life .

It wasn't a hoax but a lot of the reactions and measures taken to combat it were lunacy. Have you forgotten having to queue to buy toilet rolls , eating a scotch egg between pints and demanding that unvaccinated NHS doctors and nurses be sacked ?
