I thought that at the time but he had a trial at Hampshire and made the first team at Notts and even they discarded him.

Top run scorer for our seconds for a number of seasons, then was signed by the County Champions and played a handful of Championship games at the end of the 2011 season - making 64 in one innings against Sussex. He was discarded because they preferred Hales, Cowan and Wessels (who aren't bad like :lol:).

You can dress it up however you want to suit whatever argument ;-)
