I had a sharp intake of breath, and was immediately taken over by a feeling of impending doom about my club.
I have never felt this low in over 40 years of supporting Sunderland.
Before you give me comments about McMenemy years etc, even then, there was something there, not a lot but I didn’t feel like this!
I am deeply deeply worried like never before. I just can’t see a way out of this mess, from the top to the bottom of the club.
Is there a way back?

January loanees and the fact we are only a couple of points from safety, absolutely mate.

Of course there is. Finding it might be tricky though. Just have a look at your table and see what a win will potentially do.
 
It's hard to see one. I thought the team of Lawrence, Noworthy, Whitehead, Elliott, etc was poor but this is different class

The club is alive, it has an immense fanbase.
Temporarily has shit out on the pitch. It will find a level but will come back.
Big clubs always do over time.
I know how you are feeling though. It gets to me and I should not let it but it does.
Few hardcore Swindon go home and away and don’t let the results get to them. They are in for the games. I am just not that way.

I have been supporting the club for 60, and I mean supporting home and away and I always believe, nothing happens till it happens and I will not be despondent till its actually a certainty that we will be relegated. HAWAY THE LADS
 
Look at the teams above us: Barnsley, Burton, Preston, Brentford. Now financially dwarfed by the likes of Bournemouth, Burnley .....Huddersfield. What a disaster, relegation will surely instigate administration
 
Well we’ll soon see what Shorts imtention is with the club. We desperately need some decent players and that’s going to cost. Will short put his hand in his pocket or are we destined to be relegated again and the worth of the club be literally fuck all.

Very worrying for both owner and fans.

Players don’t give a shit.
