Premier League player of the season in a season with Shearer , Cantona etc in his only full season. Ferguson also described him as the best player they played against in the first decade of premier league

Others have been past their best up here but he was prime then until he got that awful injury at atletico and never recovered. Sold for £13m from a relegated team when the record was only Shearer 15m

Gazza playing for the mags and then boro were far and away a much better player.

Bearing in mind he was pissed at boro 95% of the time
