Ashley's fault!

That twat wants to stick to singing with Whitesnake.
me and the lad were talking last night about the pull out.. We both thought that there is more to this than just the PL...Also , it is reported that the exclusivity/NDA , that seems to have a payment or fee involved, was coming to an end. It would appear that this has forced the Saudis hands..or hand depending on the crime

Simpletons have launched a petition to put heat on the government regarding the breakdown.
What a bunch of knobs haha

I've just read it, the petition actually tries to make out that it was unfair of other organisations with a vested interest from stating the truth as it might have swayed the decision.

Imagine that?
Imagine that Qatar broadcaster NOT being allowed to raise the issue of the alleged SA channels broadcasting piracy of Premier League matches?
Imagine people pointing out that the head of the Saudi government was also the Head of PIF, so there wasn't enough separation of the potential owners and the head of a state with repressive laws and carrying out a proxy war with Iran in Yemen?

Imagine believing that 'stating the truth' is 'unfair'?!

Bunch of children crying, nothing more.

Would’ve cost them another £17m.
Only big Mike would be able to pocket £17m from a takeover and still own the club at the end

If this turns out to be the case Ashley is a bigger Genius than I thought. Makes it all up with no intention of selling and pockets the £17M. No blame on him as PIF pulled out.

"It's at this point I begin to wonder if Ashley was prepared to accept the offer AND the £17m deposit and at the same time have a quiet word with Masters at the Premier League telling him not to approve the deal and not to reject it either, sit tight and wait for time to do it's job.

Ashley invents a rival bidder, the buyer gets sick, walks away, Ashley pockets £17m (our transfer budget for this season probably) for biding his time and the whole sh*tshow continues"

Caulkin in particular should be truly ashamed of himself, given that every other piece he writes is swollen with images of pies, pints and pit villages, his youth marching for an end to apartheid and knocking bobbies hats off with placards, Thatcher withering the north east - all while generally self-describing as a leftie and socialist. Had the bollocks to criticise Di Canio and said that the Wonga deal was another of “a million pricks to my heart”.

“There is no place for intolerance in our game,” he once said. Aye unless it’s going to make his team some money by getting into bed with notorious human rights abusers, owners with ultra ultra conservative politics (women can scarcely even see a game or play sport in the presence of men in Saudi, never mind no freedom of marriage or even movement), governments who butcher dissenting journalists in broad daylight etc etc etc.

George, you’re not reading this, but you are no socialist, you’re just a f***ing hypocrite. Enjoy the #cans:lol:

Ouch that should sting George#cans he can join mad Michael on the hypocrisy throne , they obviously believe ethics is a county in the south of England ☹️

Him and Ryder were desperate for their little jaunts to Spain and Italy when Mbappe, Bale and Messi rocked up. Hypocrites

"Robert Shannon·6 hours ago
This is a loss not only to the fans that are desperate to get rid of Mike Ashley but the region of Newcastle that is in desperate need of the funds that were to be generated with this purchase. You have destroyed the hopes and dreams of thousands around the world. You should be ashamed."

Cheers. Son's crying, nice one.
Dashed the hopes and dreams of 1000’s around the world 🤣🤣🤣🤣
😃😃😃😃😃

I was a bit worried coming into work this morning in Newcastle, thinking there was an internet outage in the area.
But no, it definately works.

For anyone who has the Athletic, an article about it that actually makes sense:

"What did it do? It claimed victory at the WTO, pirating the WTO’s logo on bogus government press releases, banned beIN permanently and sent letters, including one from a PIF director, to British politicians telling them everything was hunky-dory and what is the hold-up with Newcastle?"

Nail on the f***ing head mate.

I used to enjoy reading his pieces and identify a lot with the way he spoke about the north east. Just seemed passionate about potential for all the clubs. However his weaselling around this sordid takeover and in particular his exchanges with someone impartial (and totally rational) in Miguel Delaney have really shown him to be little more than your average jawdee fanboy desperate to stick a green flag in his Twitter biog and call himself a Bank of Saudi club supporter.
