Nobody is going to buy a league one team that has no money coming in and is overpriced ! A real buyer would wait until he knows money’s coming in ! The buyer would be inheriting a club in total kaos with no chance at promotion for years !

League one for years to come😡

The mag meltdown tweets are an absolute joy to behold,

"fans have got to fight back"
"devastating for the whole region"
"fanbase have been treated like dirt"

"

That's got nothing to do with the hold up though. It's all to do with the top 6, the bbc, the premier league, probably chuck the Russians in there too.

Government and PL will look like complete mugs if they pass this lot as 'fit and proper'. The Suadi's seem to have finally realised that hence pulling out and trying to save face.

PS - The bloody EU are probably to blame as well and the immigrants.......

Highlight of the night.

Mag on facebook twisting about the fact that if this takeover had been about a "big club" it would have been approved.
Loads of one line comments about corruption at the PL and various other conspiracies about the top 6 vetoing it.

Then a comment was from a lad with a Middlesbrough badge as his avatar, all his mates tagged....

"f***ing hell lads screenshot this, one of them has finally realised theyre not a big club".

Entire thread deleted before I stopped smiling

Devastated and heartbroken that they're not receiving the blood money of the head chopping, Yemeni bombing, hand amputating Saudis.

Lots of Sunderland fans delighted with the news but in reality Newcastle have dodged a massive bullet. In one stroke they would have become both the worlds richest and most hated club (and for good reason). Every game would have become a political protest rather than a football match with human rights pickets at the gates. Imagine having to break a human rights protest to support your team?

They should thank their lucky stars its fallen through.

And it wouldnt have bothered them one bit.

Unless the money was spunked on players like Joelinton and not Mbappe and in the first season they finished midtable.

If you ever want a giggle, ask a mag to explain what Ashley would have to do to be seen as a decent owner, if he was to offer a fresh start.

They havent a clue other than "show ambition," or "care about the club"

Ask them to explain either and it comes down to "win stuff and spend money"

Just imagine making the play-offs in league one.

Just imagine making the play-offs in league one.

Dont need to imagine that. Did it last year, been there and done it and despite it all, it was a cracking weekender. ;) Would happily do it all again.

Football is about memories after all. The memories from that weekend will go with me to my grave. It was bloody brilliant.
