Disappointed but honestly, if they've backed off the deal because they couldn't satisfy the Premier League's O&D test then it's probably best they don't own a PL club. Of course I would have loved to be rid of Ashley, loved to have owners with the wealth and ambition to take us beyond the current owner's limitations, but if they're not even able to get past a fairly risible test, then what can you do.

If nothing else, I am at least confident that Ashley wants out.
