Grew up in Washington and then it was majority NUFC, but not by that big a margin

Noticed it too, sadly mags seem insecure and need to display their allegiances at any given opportunity. See also wearing barcodes for shopping or going to the pub.

Mind there's a garden near the coop with safc flagstones and a red n white fence

Safc stuff is fair enough in city boundaries. Your right about them too but they should be careful as it provokes bother. Just takes one pissed up knacker to damage property. Lots of non locals go to park too.
 
Loads around Washington. Local pubs always packed when they’re on telly

Tell yout mate. Just said it onow another thread, but since lockdown was eased it seems like it was all false bonhomie during the darker days and people have more than reverted back to their old nasty self.
 
I grew up in penshaw, and would say its 60/40 split in sunderlands favour. I always found it funny on derby day, the day before in the bird in hand everyone was sat together as friends and had their usual place, then one derby day it was split and nearly fighting, or were fightng, to be back to normal the next day.

There was a request for anyone attending the funeral to wear a newacslte shirt or wear black and white. RIP the lad, looked a good turn out for him.
