To be honest Bruce has done far better than I expected given his record and from what I had seen of his performances at other clubs.

of Bruce being in the Manager of the Year conversation! It's mental how people have forgotten how awful we were against Norwich, or Leicester, and so on. Yes, he's done well, but as for 'proving' Benitez did nothing more than a moderate job, that's a stretch.
Bruce has proven all but his most ardent supporters wrong. And he should get praise for that, but fuck me,
