Like the American interest, it will be a planted story to try and force through his sale to the Saudis.
Makes no sense. Theyve already signed off on the Mags

Looks like its all off and the Saudis will buy Marseille instead. Such a pity.
Means they can have a bigger football club and try and knock Qatar down a peg or two by challenging their PSG side.

Is French football's biggest rivalry about to adopt a major geopolitical dimension? Saudi Arabia reportedly behind bid to purchase Marseille. President Macron showing keen interest, according to the face of the bid Mourad Boudjellal. At last a challenger for Qatar-backed PSG?
Yeah saw the piece on news. Think the mags will do anything to try to get some reflected glory.Think Bruce is making a concerted effort to persuade the citizens of Liverpool to erect a statue of him coaching a young Jordan Henderson whilst eating a pie![]()

Either way it wouldnt really matter though would it. It was over a decade ago. He came up through our youth set up and is one of us but much of the credit is his and Liverpools. If any manager takes credit (and I don't like saying this) it would be Brendan Rogers for sticking with him and making him captain. Klopp has then taken that to a new level.Bruce was claiming he gave Henderson his senior Sunderland debut.
I'm sure Jordan said it was Keano that gave him his first team chance?

He also made him captain and built midfield around him. Wasn't it Hodgson who tried to get him to go to Fulham?rogers? He tried to get rid of him in an attempt to sign Dempsey

Dubravka has had some poor games this seasonMy cousin works with the kid who apparently came out with this. I have no idea if he was being serious though in all probability he was... 100%

Becoming more convinced it's not happening. This is the Mike Ashley model. They will sell Dubravka if a decent offer comes in from one of the big boys. He's been their best player for a couple of years and literally they would have been fucked this season but for him. Happy days

Part of his media project to save reputation if/when he gets the boot from current role. (I don't think the takeover will happen but Bruce is Bruce and it'll fail big style next season when he signs overpriced shite IMO)Bruce was taking the credit on the news yesterday so it seems to matter to him.

I checked and you are correct but he then made him captain and built the midfield around him as I stated. Klopp then took this further and we've seen him as one of the more successful captains of recent years. All in all many people had a stake in his success, Bruce perhaps though was the smallest stake.it was definitely Rodgers
Agreed from what I've read and saw on tv. Given that and he's still been their best, how shite are the rest of them?Clint
Never fails
Look noocazzle will be reporting this way too

Was very good management really and a good lesson in patience. Hendo didn't set the world alight when he went there and took a while to find his feet - and look at him now. Good lad.it was definitely Rodgers
