It's just the default, lazy response from Sunderland fans who haven't seen him play this season. He's not a great player. But he was cheap, is solid enough and has become our first choice RB this season with some steady performances. It's not that big a deal for people to accept :lol:

Then why don’t you just go and spout off on your own forums if you are so full of admiration for him rather than saying it on here?

We may not have been watching him with the intensity you have, but scouts from all over Europe will have been and the fact that a first choice Prem RB, available on a free, hasn't been snapped up elsewhere isn't really a ringing endorsement.
 
Everyone knows it off I guess. They'll be writing Mike's Sky Sports interview as we speak. May even be after Sundays game. If theres a God anyway
