It’s impossible to second guess. My opinion is that the Saudis really want to buy to get into the world of premier league football and Ashley really wants to sell because he’s getting a great price / profit in this hugely challenging time.
I’d think instead of going back over it all again they both just want it signed off and to be done and dusted.
Only my opinion like.
They are diversifying, the arse has dropped out of oil with coronavirus (people hardly using cars etc), electric cars and so on being the future. Oil is very much a commodity they rely on and when that demand goes they are knackered and that is why they are moving out and spreading their investments imo

Na, I got it. Was thinking you might play along and repeat it again
You don’t really know me do you? Lol Nice try though

Course I don't know you, you're just a name on a message board

Comments from a Mag forum:

"The government have so far been happy to distance themselves from the sale but if you continue with your delaying tactics, they may decide to force the deal through as they could see billions of pounds of trade between the UK and Saudi Arabia being put in jeopardy should you persist in your inaction.

You have a duty to every supporter to make this deal happen as quickly as possible, it is high time that the sleeping giant of English football was allowed to waken and finally realise its true potential.’

the sleeping giant of English football? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
What a load of shite😂😂😂

We all know they haven’t been convicted and probably never will be, but most people including the WTO, FIFA, EUFA and the Premier League all believe they are involved and have tried to bring them to justice.

Serious question for you, do you believe the Saudi’s are innocent when it comes to the piracy issue? A simple yes or no will suffice.
I know you didn't ask me but I feel pretty confident the Saudi state is behind the piracy.

Not quite a yes or no answer but close enough.

I don’t really understand it all to be honest. Apparently I read that oil is hugely picking up but I’ve no idea how much or the relevance of it all.

Banned dunno what for mind mate
Good to have you back anyway

They are just my thoughts, looking long term as opposed to short term. A case of not having your eggs in one basket

Probably the correct answer. Until the evidence is made available then no one will know for certain, but I couldn’t see anyone betting against them being involved.

I think it's fairly obvious they did it but I think it's all just dick waving between KSA and Qatar. I can't see it effecting the deal personally.
Qatar are moaning about the loss of revenue and you would probably have more sympathy for them had they not sacked off the income themselves long before the piracy started.

I imagine when the contract is up for grabs in a couple of years time the Saudi's will probably win it and then they will be moaning about Qatar pirating their stuff.
Then in a few years time they will kiss and make up and it will all be forgotten.

Didn’t realize that Amanda Staveley has Huntington’s disease. I know a lad who had that and once it triggers it’s awful. Never seen such a rapid decline in someone who was once a fit and healthy person. Very sad to see.
