Dear me, how old are you? Your comment is embarrassing even by Newcastle standards. What would you do if sat in your Mams spare room and your wank sock was in the wash?

A similar age to me, I have totally missed the joke. I thought you were aiming it at me. Apologies for my response if you weren’t.I was pointing out the sad get has nothing else in his life. I'm 52 and a Sunderland fan. Sorry you missed the joke
Mate you would want this if it was Sunderland, the vast vast majority would be nailing us to the floor......imagine Newcastle stuck in the 3 rd division for the 3rd season in a row and Sunderland about to become the richest club in Britain , morals would be no fucks given .You will never admit it though eh?
Another 5 pages.. I thought something had happened![]()
Not aimed at you mate and sorry if it came across as aimed at you. I agree with you I dont get why they come on a rival fans board. Bizzare behaviour. I've been a fan all my life, first season ticket was in the 3rd Division and think I missed 2 games home and away all season. Used to go away with the Shields Branch. I'm originally from Washington however I live in South Wales now, work and partner reason for the move 3 years ago. My Stepson is a 10 year old however with my Brother in law and my influence hes a MLF. His Uncle is still a season ticket holder and when we are home he goes to the match. I think I hate the Mags now more than ever since I moved as obviously I dont have daily interaction with them now as I did and the ones on social media are a bigger joke than in real life.A similar age to me, I have totally missed the joke. You must be just over an hour further away than I am. I live at the foot of the Malvern hills and love the odd trip into Wales, well I used to until lock down happened. My brother-in-law is a Newcastle fan but we never rib each other and I certainly would never go on a Newcastle forum, I’d feel unclean. I don’t mind Sima as he talks football rather than being a WUM and he seems respected on here but I can not help but laugh at the ones trying to mock us, it just goes straight over me head. Not aimed at you mate and sorry if it came across as aimed at you. I chuckle when I see mags retort about Man City or PSG as likely they have no idea what Abu Dhabi is or what country it is or its relationship with Dubai, or could pick out Qatar on a map. But this is akin to a team being bought by Her Majesty's Treasury and when you read PIF, you read Saudi as a whole.
I know they are modernising (Vision 2030) but this is still a country where until recently women couldn't drive, where until recently the religious police enforced behaviour on the streets, where classrooms/universities are separate for men and women, where until recently there was no cinema, dis-regard for property rights and IP, 184 beheadings in 2019 ..... Even if that all changes now it will take a generation to shed those negative associations.
Every Newcastle win, every signing, every footballing success will be accompanied by numerous negative associations and Newcastle as a club will be tarnished forever. If I am a "family" brand I would run a mile to avoid the potential reputational risk.
As mentioned before I have a number of Saudi acquaintances and have worked with some top Saudi companies and as long as you keep the conversation away from religion and politics everything is fine. Plenty of North Eastern fellas have worked out there and earned good money so many of us bend our morals at times, for economic reasons, but for the lost mags on here to be some enthusiastic about being taken over by the PIF confounds belief.
Just my opinion. Have I weighed him incorrectly?

I live in between Cardiff and Newport (kind of what Penshaw is being in between Washington and Sunderland). Our lass is from Washington as well but lived here for 26 years. Theres at least 2 Red & White shirts knocking about down here with the Boy and myself. Majority here are Liverpool fans for some strange reason and obviously a lot of Cardiff and Newport fans. I was shitting it when Newport got to the play off final and could've been in same league as us. It's a nice place and the people here are very like North Eastern folk with the mining backgroundYou must be just over an hour further away than I am. Oh, I’ll take him off my Christmas card list. I’m not the biggest poster/reader on here so I must’ve missed loads.Genital wart of the forum imo.
Spooky that like, 26 years for me too. Came came down here Sept ‘94I live in between Cardiff and Newport (kind of what Penshaw is being in between Washington and Sunderland). That's a coincidence indeed. I do miss the craic at the footy and had some great away days. Was Fulwell end and then finished at Roker in the main stand seats. My seat at the SOL was North Stand. I missed the first game at the new stadium. I had a ticket and my ex wife went into labour at 4.30 on the afternoon of the match. The bairn didn't arrive until 24 hours later. I have 3 lasses up North who were all born in the Royal and my middle daughter who's 19 is an ST holder now as well.Oh, I’ll take him off my Christmas card list. Dont know if you're aware theres a guy called Bill Turnbull (I think) who runs a Wales and West supporters club and arranges car shares etc to away games. Hes on facebook I think if ever you fancied doing that.Oh, I’ll take him off my Christmas card list. I’m not the biggest poster/reader on here so I must’ve missed loads.

His posting history would suggest he’s got more faces than a watchmakers window, has a record of posting on here then going on mag forums and bragging about it, and has abused female posters on here. Other than that you make your own mind up marra.Just my opinion. Have I weighed him incorrectly?
Is of course correctI can categorically tell you that personally, I would have nothing to do with my club if it was owned by a regime that still crucifies people. That’s just me. I wouldn’t enforce my views on other people but don’t assume every person has your level of conscience.
Nobel peace prize awaits thenI believe it’s Bin Salman who has enforced these progressive changes. Great to see he’s moving the country to a more civilised society and I believe he should be rightly applauded for that.
