The prem are just looking and looking for a reason to block it. I think they probably have an idea of the grounds they'd like to reject it on, but need to make sure they're on a strong legal footing before they do. Probably a very grey area in the test...

The part I do agree with Is that if it was Man U or Tottenham it would have been approved ages ago.

When a media company (BSkyB) which actually buys PL rights rather than steals them agreed a deal for Manchester United it was blocked by the UK government in the shape of the Monopolies and Mergers Commission. :lol:
 
Mag today was telling me it’s ‘imminent’ and the Saudi’s have bought them ‘as a cock waving exercise’ so they can piss off the Man City owners .
