Doesn't look like much if any new information in that Telegraph piece.
16 weeks in and it says it's gridlocked. How did they get that exclusive?
That same piece could have appeared 4 weeks ago and it would still have been the same.
Mentions the period of exclusivity which ended as far back as May according to reports at the time.
Same old stories getting rehashed every week because people are looking for information, so it creates traffic to the website and generates advertising revenue.

I think being a lower league premier League team is a bit different to being an average league 1 team mind.
Yes you've got your grievances against Ashley but if you were in our position you would be going mental

yeah of course, but league position has no bearing whatsoever with wanting a change of ownership. Manchester United want the glazers out, is that not acceptable either ?

I can’t see at all how NUFC is toy throwing yet SAFC is some just crusade. They’re exactly the same.

Or Edwards and Burt might have spoken to people today like he suggests they have.
This isn’t a dig because as football supporters we all tend to believe the reports we want to believe and not the ones that don’t tell us what we want to hear,

The only new bit is this

“The problem is this, the Premier League wants to know who will be running the club, who will have the final say on decisions, who will negotiate sponsorship deals and so on and so on.

“The PIF has the majority stake but the management structure does not seem to recognise that. The more questions that have been asked, the more muddled and confused it becomes. The Premier League is not satisfied with the answers it has been given.”

Then maybe the last paragraph where questions seem to have been answered with the usual no comment.
Hard for journalists as well as there probably isn't really any stories to write with such little information.
I think Luke Edwards is decent at what he does, but with this article, and one that came out last week from Simon Bird it just appears to be the same thing over and over.

I was skeptical it would happen back in April and still think the same now. Believe it when it's done.

Clickbait headlines to get you behind the Telegraph paywall.

BBC reporting that the ‘lack of clarity’ as the reason behind the delay. Dare we hope that it gets knocked back completely? I certainly hope so.

Straw clutching fat clip.

Well, apart form the fact we're facing a third season in the third division with an owner taking a loan out to fix a lift.

There’s plenty of clubs facing longer stints though. Why should SAFC be any different ? We all know that no club has a right to play at a certain level. To be fair, Donald is taking the flak but it’s Short who put you where you are now, not SD.

I don't believe we have the right to play anywhere but where we deserve to be, which is here but we've just wasted £60m in parachute money and the biggest crowds and budget the league has ever seen and gone backwards.
